MALCOLM C. RICH is of counsel to the law firm of Whitted, Cleary + Takiff, LLC. He serves as the executive director of the Chicago Council of Lawyers , a public interest bar association dedicated to bringing about an exemplary legal system. He is also the executive director of the Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice , a social impact research and advocacy organization affiliated with the Appleseed Foundation.
He has a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago.
Mr. Rich has been involved with Brooke Whitted in the practice of special education and mental health law for more than 20 years. He is a past president of Illinois Citizens for Better Care, a nursing home watchdog organization, and currently serves as a volunteer with Horizon Hospice in Chicago.
